PRAYER REQUESTS

Pray for our nation, our President, our state and local leaders, and all citizens. Pray for the families of the many incidences of gun violence. Pray for the suffering folks of Ukraine and the families that lost children and teachers in areas all over our nation. Continue to pray for the REC-Room (Re-Entry Chapel) as we have services every Thursday night at Tabernacle Baptist Church here in Odessa. We have seen many folks come to Christ this past year. Pray for Edward, Grace, and Steve for salvation. Pray for good friend and board member, Dan Pearson. He has macular degeneration. Pray for Dan’s wife, Mary Lee. Dan continues to pull the newsletter together for me and has for the last 31 years! We couldn’t do it without him! Thank you again, Dan! Pray for good friend Jack, he will be starting radiation treatment soon. Pray for Carolyn and Odie, they have both faced some sickness in the last month. Pray for good friend Nell. She has damaged her cornea and is still recovering. Continue to pray for dear friend, Sandra. She is still having some health issues. Pray for Bonnie and Jimmy, they both are fighting cancer and she has dementia. Pray for friend, Donna. She is having extreme pain in her neck and back. She is having scans done this week. Continue to pray for Jamie and her health. Continue to pray for her blood pressure and her A1C numbers. Pray too for her extended family. Continue to pray for Vearl and Sandy, he has leukemia, and she is having some health issues. Pray for members of the Borron/Morgan families. Many of them have a rare kidney disease and/or liver issues. Continue to pray for Robert. An old ankle injury has caused some problems, he now has a new brace. He has some additional issues and will see the doctor next week. Continue to pray for the REC-Room. Pray for all three half-way houses here in Odessa and all those in jail. We pick up two of the halfway houses now and bring them to the REC-Room meeting. Idlewood halfway house is now coming also. Pray for all those that work in these facilities, they are truly special folks. We have seen 38 men and women accept Christ in 2022 and 4 already in 2023. I thank the Lord every day for all our faithful volunteers. Pray for our church that we may remain focused on the Lord Jesus Christ, the salvation of the lost and faithfulness of all of us. Pray too for our Sunday School classes. Pray that we can find a song leader and relieve Mark of doing double and triple duty. Thank you, Lord, for the growth we are experiencing. Pray for all our men and women serving in the armed forces. Keep them safe until they come home. Pray for all our first responders, police, firemen and EMT’s. Pray protection for our doctors and nurses and additional hospital staff that continue to work tirelessly.
