PRAYER REQUESTS

Pray for our nation, our President, our state and local leaders, and all citizens. Pray for the families of the many incidences of gun violence. Pray for the suffering folks of Ukraine and the families that lost children and teachers in areas all over our nation. Continue to pray for the REC-Room (Re-Entry Chapel) as we have services every Thursday night at Tabernacle Baptist Church here in Odessa. We have seen many folks come to Christ this year. Pray for Edward, Grace, and Steve for salvation. Pray for good friend and board member, Dan Pearson. He has macular degeneration. Pray for Dan’s wife, Mary Lee. Dan continues to pull the newsletter together for me and has for the last 31 years! We couldn’t do it without him! Thank you again, Dan! Pray for good friend Jack, he will be starting radiation treatments soon. Pray for Carolyn and Odie, they have both faced some sickness in the last month. Pray also for family members, Connie and Mackenzie. Connie has cancer and is starting chemo and radiation. Little Mackenzie has Rett’s disease and is getting worse. Prayers and a special thank-you to Wayne A. He spoke at REC-Room this last Thursday and 2 men accepted Christ. Thanks! Wayne. Pray for Connie, Linda’s sister; she is recovering from Long Covid and is still very weak. Pray for good friend in Colorado, Jerry S. He is having some serious back issues and is seeing a surgeon soon. Pray for him and sweet wife, Diane. Pray for good friend Ellen. She fell and broke her hip while visiting family in San Antonio. Pray for healing as she recovers. Continue to pray for Vearl and Sandy, he has leukemia, and she is having some health issues. Pray for members of the Borron/Morgan families. Many of them have a rare kidney disease and/or liver issues. Continue to pray for good friend and Loops board member Robert. He has been in the hospital and is now in rehab. Pray for his complete recovery. Pray too for his daughter Melissa. She has been here helping take care of him. Continue to pray for the REC-Room. Pray for all three half-way houses here in Odessa and all those in jail. We pick up two of the halfway houses now and bring them to the REC-Room meeting. Idlewood halfway house is now coming also. Pray for all those that work in these facilities, they are truly special folks. We saw 38 men and women accept Christ in 2022 and 14 already in 2023. I thank the Lord every day for all our faithful volunteers. Pray for our church that we may remain focused on the Lord Jesus Christ, the salvation of the lost and faithfulness of all of us. Pray too for our Sunday School classes. Pray that we can find a song leader and relieve Mark of doing double and triple duty. Thank you, Lord, for the growth we are experiencing. Pray for all our men and women serving in the armed forces. Keep them safe until they come home. Pray for all our first responders, police, firemen and EMT’s. Pray protection for our doctors and nurses and additional hospital staff that continue to work tirelessly.
