PRAYER REQUESTS

Pray for our nation, our President, our state and local leaders, and all citizens. Pray for the families of the many incidences of gun violence. Pray for the suffering folks of Ukraine and the families that lost children and teachers in Uvalde. Pray for sister-in-law Cathy. She has just been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and will be seeing a specialist in Dallas soon. She also has a hernia that must be repaired and could be causing the lung problem. Pray for her, her husband Alan and their family. My cousin Carolyn called with these requests. Ted G. has recently had surgery, and has stage 3 kidney cancer. Doctors don’t know if they got all the cancer when polyps were removed. Pray too for son, Robert. He is still trying to work after almost severing his spine in an accident. Henry C. is in ICU after a blood clot in arm, passing out and is now unresponsive. Pray too for 19 year-old great- granddaughter Mackenzie. She has RETTS syndrome and is not doing well at all. Pray for Edward, Grace, and Steve for salvation. Pray for good friend and board member, Dan Pearson. He has macular degeneration. He continues to pull the newsletter together for me and has for the last 30 years! Pray for friend, Sandra as she continues healing from an extremely bad fall and a stress fracture in her lower back. Continue to pray for Evelyn. She lost husband, Ronnie, in March and then had triple bypass surgery in May. Pray for Fisher Walker, he has cancer in one of his eyes and has been undergoing chemo and radiation at MD Anderson in Houston. The latest chemo did not shrink the tumor and he has been having seizures. He is with his mom in Artesia right now recovering from his latest episode. Pray for him and his sweet mom. Pray for daughter-in-law Rose Mary. She fell at work and shattered her left upper arm and shoulder. She is in a lot of pain and doctors have not decided how to successfully treat this injury. She has a great boss; and he is letting her work from home. Pray for Troy, he was recently injured in an accident in Mexico and broke his leg. Pray for comfort and healing as they try to get him back to Texas. Pray for Sammy; he has cancer of the brainstem and his spine. Pray for comfort and healing. Continue to pray for Jamie and her health. Continue to pray for her blood pressure and her A1C numbers. Continue to pray for Vearl and Sandy, he has leukemia. Pray for Matt’s friend Ricky, he has a form of cancer and is fighting for his life. Pray for members of the Borron/Morgan families. Many of them have a rare kidney disease and/or liver issues. Pray for Robert Lambert, his PSA numbers are elevated, and he continues his treatment. Continue to pray for the REC-Room. Pray for all three half-way houses here in Odessa and all those in jail. We pick up two of the halfway houses now and bring them to the REC-Room meeting. Idlewood halfway house joined us last week. Pray for all those that work in these facilities, they are truly special folks. I thank the Lord every day for all our faithful volunteers. Pray for our church that we may remain focused on the Lord Jesus Christ, the salvation of the lost and faithfulness of all of us. Pray too for our Sunday School classes. Pray that we can find a song leader and relieve Mark of doing double and triple duty. Thank you, Lord, for the growth we are experiencing. Pray for all our men and women serving in the armed forces. Keep them safe until they come home. Pray for all our first responders, police, firemen and EMT’s. Pray protection for our doctors and nurses and additional hospital staff that are working tirelessly during this ordeal.
