PRAYER REQUESTS

Pray for our nation, our President, our state and local leaders, and all citizens. Pray for the families of the many incidences of gun violence. Pray for the suffering folks of Ukraine and the families that lost children and teachers in areas all over our nation. Continue to pray for the REC-Room (Re-Entry Chapel) as we have services every Thursday night at Tabernacle Baptist Church here in Odessa. We have seen many folks come to Christ this past year. Pray for Edward, Grace, and Steve for salvation. Pray for the new halfway house here in Odessa. It is called Transitional Housing Enterprises. They are also building a women’s facility here. We thank the Lord for them. Pray for good friend and board member, Dan Pearson. He has macular degeneration. Pray also for Dan’s wife, Mary Lee. Dan continues to pull the newsletter together for me and has for the last 31 years! Pray for good friends Jack and Delores, Jack has finished with radiation treatments and is feeling better; Delores is having several tests done. Pray for both of them. Pray for good friends Doug and Shelley. They were in an automobile accident a couple of months ago. They are both dealing with tremendous pain. Doug is going to have two surgeries, one on his neck and one on his back. Shelley may also need additional surgery. Pray, pray, pray, please. Pray for Mandy’s grandfather, Tom. He is recovering from two surgeries; pray for his healing. Pray for Carolyn and Odie and some of their family Pray for daughter-in-law Connie, she is going through chemo and radiation. Pray for great- granddaughter Mackenzie, she has Rett’s disease and is not doing well. Pray for friend, Donna. She is having extreme pain in her neck and back. She recently had new scans done; pray they can find some answers for her. Pray for Tom M. from Hobbs. He was in an automobile accident about two months ago. He broke both of his legs in multiple places and had to have rods and plates on both of them to help them heal. He now will be having the rods and appliances taken off if his legs are stable. Doctors will then put both legs in casts and he will have to have them on for a couple of months. Pray for healing and that he will be able to walk. Continue to pray for friend, Ellen. She is back with us at the REC-Room and is recovering from hip and sinus surgery. Pray for my sister, Connie. She is still recovering from Long Covid and is still having some lung issues. Pray for Bonnie and Jimmy, they both are fighting cancer and she has dementia. Continue to pray for Vearl and Sandy, he has leukemia, and she is having some health issues. Continue to pray for the REC-Room. Pray for all three half-way houses here in Odessa and all those in jail. We pick up two of the halfway houses now and bring them to the REC-Room meeting. Idlewood halfway house is now coming also. Pray for all those that work in these facilities, they are truly special folks. We have seen 48 men and women accept Christ this year. I thank the Lord every day for all our faithful volunteers. Pray for our church that we may remain focused on the Lord Jesus Christ, the salvation of the lost and faithfulness of all of us. Pray too for our Sunday School classes. Pray that we can find a song leader and relieve Mark of doing double and triple duty. Thank you, Lord, for the growth we are experiencing. Pray for all our men and women serving in the armed forces. Keep them safe until they come home. Pray for all our first responders, police, firemen and EMT’s. Pray protection for our doctors and nurses and additional hospital staff that continue to work tirelessly.
