PRAYER REQUESTS

Pray for our nation, our President, our state and local leaders, and all citizens. Pray for the families of the many incidences of gun violence. Pray for the suffering folks of Ukraine and the families that lost children and teachers in areas all over our nation. Continue to pray for the REC-Room (Re-Entry Chapel) as we have services every Thursday night at Tabernacle Baptist Church here in Odessa. Pray for Edward, Grace, and Steve for salvation. Pray for good friend and board member, Dan Pearson. He has macular degeneration. Pray for Dan’s wife, Mary Lee. She had a bad fall and is recovering from a possible concussion and damaged joints. Dan continues to pull the newsletter together for me and has for the last 30 years! We couldn’t do it without him! Thank you again, Dan! Pray for good friend Nell. She has damaged her cornea and has been in the hospital in Lubbock fighting a bad infection in her eye. She is doing better. Pray for dear friend, Sandra. She is still having multiple issues and multiple tests done and is waiting on consultations from several doctors. Pray that her heart evaluation turns out good. Pray for Bonnie and Jimmy, they both are fighting cancer and she has dementia. Continue to pray for Jamie and her health. Continue to pray for her blood pressure and her A1C numbers. Pray too for her extended family; she recently lost her niece to covid. Continue to pray for Vearl and Sandy, he has leukemia, and she is having some health issues.
Pray for members of the Borron/Morgan families. Many of them have a rare kidney disease and/or liver issues. Continue to pray for Robert. An old ankle injury has caused some problems, but he is getting a new brace. His cancer numbers are way down and just started a new job. Continue to pray for the REC-Room. Pray for all three half-way houses here in Odessa and all those in jail. We pick up two of the halfway houses now and bring them to the REC-Room meeting. Idlewood halfway house has now joined us, Pray for all those that work in these facilities, they are truly special folks. I thank the Lord every day for all our faithful volunteers. Pray for our church that we may remain focused on the Lord Jesus Christ, the salvation of the lost and faithfulness of all of us. Pray too for our Sunday School classes. Pray that we can find a song leader and relieve Mark of doing double and triple duty. Thank you, Lord, for the growth we are experiencing. Pray for all our men and women serving in the armed forces. Keep them safe until they come home. Pray for all our first responders, police, firemen and EMT’s. Pray protection for our doctors and nurses and additional hospital staff that are working tirelessly during this ordeal.
